Experienced Singers who have performed Brahms Requiem are invited to register for our Brecon Singers Brahms Requiem Come and Sing.  This event will be held on Saturday 11 November 2017 at Brecon Cathedral.    The event will begin promptly with a full rehearsal with musicians from 2pm to 5pm.  We will break for dinner for two hours and back at the Cathedral for a 730pm performance.

This Come and Sing will be led by our Musical Director Robert Evans. Robert studied at The Royal College of Music.  He made his London debut in 1987 at The Royal Festival Hall with the choir of The London Oratory.  Having spent ten years in the choir of Westminster Cathedral (winners of the Gramophone Record of the year 1999) Robert moved to Salisbury, allowing him to concentrate on his freelance singing career, both as a soloist and as a consort singer working with The Sixteen, The Cardinalls Musick (winners of the Gramophone Record of the year 2010), Alamire, Tenebrae, The Kings Consort, and The Gabrieli Consort.

Tickets for this event are priced at £15.  Music hire is not included in this price and there will be no spare music available on the day. Please note that we are using the Brahms Requiem Peters Edition in English.
