Mozart Requiem a big success!

The Brecon Singers are thrilled with our performance of the Mozart Requiem.  There was not a seat available in the church and we are told that the sounds of the performance floated out into the streets!  The Brecon Singers started the performance with a rousing piece by Haydn, the Insanae Vanae et Curae, followed by Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus.  The orchestra then serenaded us beautifully and the Singers finished with the Mozart Laudate Dominum.  The second half of our concert was the Mozart Requiem and if the audience enjoyed themselves as much as we did, it must have been amazing.  Special thanks to Rob Evans, our musical director. and to our wonderful soloists Lis Priday, Lis Irvine, Paul Badley and Stuart Young.
