Mendelssohn Elijah Concert --- a packed house!!!!

What a joy it was last night to sing Mendelssohn Elijah to a packed audience at St Mary's Church in Brecon. We could not have squeezed another person in. Thanks for your support! Thank you to so many people. To our brilliant soloists, Ben Davies, Susan Gilmour Bailey, Elizabeth Poole and Mark Dobell. You make it all look so easy and effortless!!! To Martha Skibniewski-Woods, our scholar, for her beautiful singing as Youth. Thank you to Tim Cronin and his orchestra who played magnificently! Thank you to Alan Davies who keeps us on our toes in rehearsal and who last night was wonderful on the cello! But thanks most of all to Rob Evans, our incredibly patient and brilliant musical director. The look of delight on your face as we sang was one to remember and it is why we work so hard in the choir. Thank you for believing in us and trusting us with this magnificent oratorio. What a night to remember!!
